InterHealth Nutraceuticals, Benicia, CA, has presented the American College of Nutrition (ACN) Humanitarian Award for 2002 to Theresa De La Haya, RN, BSN, MPH, and Dr. Robert Trevino. The award recognizes the outstanding dedication and accomplishments the two have displayed in the fight against diabetes. In recognition of Ms. De La Haya’s and Dr. Trevino’s contributions, InterHealth Nutraceuticals contributed $2,000 to ACN’s scholarship program. An additional $2,000 was presented, $1,000 in each recipient’s name, to the Social & Health Research Center, San Antonio, TX.
